Measure LL Facility Bond Mini-Workshop:

  • VMMS scope change for expanded entry modification and gym wall repairs - Include asphalt replacement as part of the scope
  • RMMS architectural scope redesign - Board consensus to explore scope redesign to focus on shade for students

Safe Schools for All Overview:

  • Budget - Consider resources for virtual classes as well as classic classes
  • Health and Safety - Hire additional social worker and counselor for Student Support Services - Provide data regarding the COVID variant - Provide data related to local mental health including state and county - Create a Coordinator of Health and Safety for the Human Relations Department
  • Elementary School Programs - Implement minimum days when there is a 30% chance of rain in the forecast 48 hour before
  • Secondary School Programs - Continue to ensure that alternative high schools provide in-person learning options - Consider a phase-in approach for secondary schools in alignment with new CDPH requirements
