Our Mission

The Student Support Services Department provides leadership in the programs and services that support the academic, social, behavioral, and emotional development of all students. Our greatest potential for success lies in our cooperative and collaborative efforts with other departments, campuses, parents, students, and community organizations to meet the individual needs of all students.

Our Role

Student Support Services focuses on an integrated delivery of services. We provide support in many areas to enable the provision of specialized services to students as well as direct support to school site programs as needs arise. Our department also provides training and support to district and school site personnel to assist them to be in compliance with legal requirements for student services. Please note: Please note: Non-mandatory permanent records are destroyed the third school year following a determination that their usefulness has ceased (this is usually when the student is 21 years old).

Board Approves VIDA's Move to New Campus for 2025-2026

At the November 7, 2024 regular meeting of the Board of Education, the School Board voted on the date for the relocation of VIDA to its new home at 2245 Foothill Drive for for the 2025-2026 school year. This move will place VIDA at the new location starting in the 2025-2026 school year.
