Planning: Innovative Facility Design
Purpose Statement
Bobier Elementary School is located at 220 W. Bobier Dr., Vista California, 92083. Extensive studies of the site have been conducted. Results of these studies have resulted in a Board of Trustees vote on October 13, 2022, to direct the planning team to start the process of exploring a new school site design.
The new Bobier Elementary School concept design was approved by the Board of Trustees on November 17, 2022. This includes the full redevelopment of school site. In partnership with Ruhnau Clarke Architects, Inc., the planning team is working on the design of the new Bobier Elementary school to be the model for future elementary school standards for the district.
This is being accomplished with the following design principles:
