CERTIFICATED EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

Certificated employees, including Management, who are benefit eligible may elect coverage under one of the plans selected by the Insurance Committee. Medical plans are provided through the Self-Insured Schools of California (SISC). Benefit eligible employees may select coverages for medical, dental, vision and life insurance per Article 13 of the VUSD-VTA contract.

Employees may also choose to take advantage of the Flexible Benefit Plan offered by the District. Administered by American Fidelity Assurance Company, the plan allows employee to take pre- tax deductions for costs such as medical expenses and child care costs.

CLASSIFIED EMPLOYEE BENEFITS
