AM-PM Comprehensive Program

Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELO-P)

After School Safety and Education Program (ASES)

Vista Unified is proud to offer expanded learning opportunities for students in grades TK-8 through our Comprehensive AM-PM Program.

The purpose of Vista Unified’s AM-PM Program is to provide academic support, fun enrichment activities and positive peer interactions within a physically and emotionally safe environment.  We provide quality, safe and enriching programs before and after school at our 15 elementary schools and four middle schools, serving TK-8th grade.  Our professional staff provide a safe and supportive environment where the children can have fun, learn and make new friendships.  Lastly, we will continue to work closely with our families, knowing that strong communication and teamwork is always in the best interest of our children.

Expanded learning refers to before school, after school, and summer learning experiences that focus on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests of students through hands-on, engaging learning experiences.

School districts are required to have an Expanded learning Opportunities Program plan as part of the funding, programming, and reporting requirements.  The VUSD plan may be viewed here:  ELO-P Program Plan
