The Technology Sprint Team is made up of a diverse group of teachers, staff and administrators. The goal of the Technology Sprint Team was to develop plans to ensure that Vista Unified has the technology infrastructure, equipment, and software for high-quality teaching and learning.

Core Ideas: All students deserve equitable access to high quality software tools for teaching and learning. We believe that our investment in these technology tools should be viewed not only as a COVID-19 response but also as a transformational opportunity into the future.

  • Device and technology access, including insurance options
  • Site device inventory, maintenance, and purchasing
  • Internet connectivity and access
  • Support for teachers, students, and parents with technology tools
  • High quality technology tools that enhance instruction, increase interaction between teacher and student, promote collaboration, facilitate authentic feedback, embed Universal Design for Learning (UDL) accessible tools, and engage parents (student progress and opportunities for parent training)
  • Adoption of technology tools that include significant training for students, staff, and parents.
