Superintendent's Council for Innovative Learning

The Superintendent’s Council for Innovative Learning was formed in the spring of 2020 in order to design learning models for the 2020-2021 school year. We are excited to continue our work this year with the council, which includes students, parents, teachers, staff, administration, and school board representatives, to refine our learning models in order to recommend adjustments to address the changing needs of our community during the pandemic.

The Superintendent’s Council heard feedback from the elementary and secondary Sprint Teams (who met separately to collaborate, discuss, and provide feedback to the council regarding the Vista Classic learning model), analyzed data from parent and staff surveys, and received updates from the world, our nation, and our region in regards to school opening. The council reached consensus on recommendations for each grade span, and these recommendations will be presented to the School Board at the December 15th meeting.
