The Vista Unified Measurement & Monitoring department offers a variety of professional learning opportunities for educators and administrators. Professional learning sessions can be adapted to flexibly meet site needs and schedules.
Professional learning topics include assessment for learning, balanced assessment systems, Interim Assessment Blocks (IABs) as instructional and assessment tools, best practices in grading, developing self-regulated learners, and effective feedback cycles. We would also be pleased to assist with any other assessment related topics or individual needs.
Professional learning sessions are tailored to site identity, needs and schedule. Professional learning sessions can be requested by administrators or teachers themselves by email.
