Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Mid-Term Improvement Plans is to provide an 18-24 month outlook on capital improvements that our schools need for operational success. These plans bridge the expanse between the Long Range Master plan, Proposition LL construction, and the immediate needs of our schools.
This is being accomplished by:
- The implementation of a Mid-Term Facility Improvement Plans for capital facility improvements.
- The ongoing reassessment of our plans based upon emergent site needs.
- Establishing and implementing best practices project planning and implementation.
- Engaging with well established and high quality designers, planners, and contracted services for implementation and construction of mid-term improvement plans.
Scope of Responsibility
The current scope of responsibility for the Mid-Term Improvement Plans are our Fund 40 (Certificate of Participation), allocated deferred maintenance funds, and other capital resources as they become available through the general fund, restricted funds, or other grant sources.
