We have set four community forums located at a variety of locations around the school district to ensure that parents and community members from around the district have an opportunity to actively engage in our annual revision to the Blueprint and Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).

In addition to the great ideas and suggestions from our community, we will be scheduling students and School Site Council forums at every school in the district starting in March 2020. 

Forums as also set for the District English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC) and the District Parent Advisory Committee (DPAC) between December and February 2020.

The Blueprint/LCAP Forum process will be facilitated by a team of Vista administrators in order to ensure that students, parents, teachers and staff from every school have the opportunity to fully participate in the annual update to the Blueprint and LCAP. 

 The Blueprint and LCAP Community Forums include three components:

  1. Review of the progress made on LCAP Goals
  2. A brief update of the progress implementing the Strategies, Actions and Services 
  3. Feedback from the community on current progress and future needs

The LCAP Community Feedback Survey will open on Nov ember 1, 2019. This on-line digital survey is another way for students, parents, staff and community members  to provide their feedback on the revision to the Blueprint, LCAP and Budget for the 2020-21 school year.
