Preschool Opportunity
Vista Unified School District hosts 10 part-day Preschools serving students 3 to 5 years old. These preschool programs are operated by Educational Enrichment Systems (EES), a non-profit agency that has provided early education programs to families throughout San Diego County since 1979. EES also operates four full-day year-round preschools in Vista.
These educational part-day and full-day quality preschool programs are free to families that meet income eligibility requirements as determined by the California Department of Education.

- Vista Innovation Early Education Center located on the campus of Vista Innovation Center on Olive Avenue. Proudly serving children ages 2 to 5 years old
- David and Jillian Gilmour Early Education Campus located behind California Avenue School on Avenida de Benito Juarez. Proudly serving children ages 3 to 5 years old
- Monte Vista Early Education Center: Located on the campus of Monte Vista Elementary School. Proudly serving children ages 2 to 5 years old
- Vista Early Learning Center: Located on the campus of Alta Vista High School. Proudly serving children infant to 5 years old
