Rancho Minerva Middle School

Rancho Minerva Middle School opened in 2007 but its history goes back decades. The students, teacher and other employees came from Lincoln Middle School when the new campus opened in rural eastern Vista. The original campus is now Vista Magnet Middle School. The mission there is to ensure a high level of academic achievement and provide systems of support for every learner as measured by standards-based assessment.

“We believe every child can achieve academic success.” Principal Steve Riehle said.

Test scores have risen over the last several years at the school, which serves more than 900 students and has about 45 teachers.
