Bobier Elementary School opened in early 1962 in Central Vista. The current principal is Dr. Jenifer Golden and Assistant Principal is Kelly Urena. Bobier has 674 students enrolled in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade and 27 teachers on staff. Bobier Elementary is in Year 2 of the Personalized Learning process, where all students are provided integrated science lesson with embedded technology enhancements. The goal of these efforts is to help students evolve in a changing world where all students need to collaborate and think critically to solve real-world problems and develop global competencies to prepare them for the future workforce. We are 100% on board with Vista Unified to be the model of educational excellence and innovation.

We are proud to announce that students are 1:1 with their own iPads and netbooks in grades K-2, while Chromebooks are 1:1 for students in grades 3-5. Students in grades 3-5 also have a device they can take home so that all students have equitable access to resources and meaningful educational experiences. Bobier educators are highly trained in Project Lead the Way, STEM, NGSS, and Mystery Science curricula that help students identify and align their strengths, values, and interests as as to prepare them for successful 21st century careers. We are also proud to announce that we have full-time Music, Art, and P.E teachers and are in our second year of a Wellness grant where students are exposed to quality weekly enrichment activities that enhance the health, safety, and well-being of all students through a whole child and balanced focus.
