Beaumont Elementary School


Beaumont Elementary School opened in 1960 in central Vista. The school’s mission is to work collaboratively with parents, students and community to provide focused instruction every day, in every classroom, to help each child reach proficiency in grade level content standards.The school has a very active PTA , which grew more than any other in the district last year. Parents there volunteers each month to read to the children as part of a long-running family reading program.

Beaumont has about 600 students in kindergarten through fifth grade and 32 teachers. The principal is Sochie Schmitz.
